Rules for Cross Country Club Champion
Note: the included events, points for each event and rules may be altered at any time as deemed necesary by the committee
The Cross Country Club Championship runs over the Summer No Frills Friday series, the Winter Series and the Winter No Frills Friday series. Each club member accumulates points for each race in which they get a result and the points are totaled before the cross country club championship round so everyone can see where they sit. The Cross Country Club Championship round is a three stage race and will carry double points for each of the three stages. It is the final race of the Winter Series. The winner of the Club Championship is the eligible competitor with the most points accumulated over the three race series.
To be eligible for the Club Championship, you must
- be a member of the club
- get a result in at least one race IN ALL OF THE THREE CROSS COUNTRY RACE SERIES
- compete in the club championship round. This round is the three stage race.
The winner of the club championship will be rewarded with a club champion jersey, a trophy, heaps of prestige and support during the next year for their racing (the form of this support will vary).
